Steven became a christian as a single in 1988. Agnes became a christian in 1985, while in the final year of medical school at University College London. After practicing medicine in London, Agnes joined the mission team to Singapore and worked as a doctor at the National University Hospital.
Both Steven and Agnes served in the full-time ministry for 14 years, and at various times have helped in the work in Singapore, Jakarta, Penang and Kuala Lumpur churches, overseeing various ministries including Kids’ Kingdom, campus, singles, marrieds and parents. Agnes even helped for eight months with the Bombay, India church.
Steven & Agnes were married in 1993 and have two wonderful children - Sean, a young teen, and Sarah, a preteen. Both Steven and Agnes hold a graduate certificate in Parent Education Leadership Training jointly awarded by Swinburne University, Australia, and the Family Resource & Training Centre, Singapore. They are currently pursuing their Masters degree in Counselling. They are now lecturing and are full-time trainers and consultants in Family Life Education programmes. Their passion is to help people build strong and godly families.
They serve as Deacons in the Parents Integrated Youth Ministry under the leadership of John and Karen Louis.
