Yap Ching Keong (Ye ZhenQiang) or fondly known as ZQ, was baptized in the early years of the Singapore church in 1989 as a teenager. His passion to serve God full time in the ministry started from day one he became a Christian. As a polytechnic student, ZQ served part-time in the ministry. Two years later in 1994, he went full time. As a single, ZQ served for years in various ministries ranging from teens, campus, singles, and Chinese ministry to the parents ministry.

Grace, a Malaysian, was baptized in 1991. She graduated from the University of Malaya with a BArts honours in Media Studies. After her attachment with TV3 in broadcast journalism, she went full time into the ministry in 1997 with the church in Kuala Lumpur.

Six months later, she was sent to lead the church in Johor Bahru.

ZQ and Grace worked together when they were leading the Johor Bahru church in 1999. They got married two years later in Singapore and were given the opportunity to be based in Kuala Lumpur (KL) from 2003 to 2006. Grace’s father was having health challenges then and both of them started to frequent her hometown in Taiping, 5 hours from KL . With their frequent trips outside of KL, God inspired and gave birth to the idea of having mission bible talks in small towns. Together with the Malaysian staff, mission bible talks in Ipoh, Taiping, Seremban, Kuching and Kuantan were started.

Being a Singaporean, ZQ came back to Singapore with his wife in 2006. They now lead the Punggol Central and North East Region. They also oversee the church in Kota Kinabalu Malaysia. ZQ and Grace are Family Life Educators and have conducted talks at schools. They received their certification from Family Resource Training Centre and Academy of Human Development, Singapore. Both ZQ and Grace share the passion for music and are overseeing the church's music ministry. Married in 2001, ZQ and Grace are now parents of two lovely kids, Jenna and Jerrick.
